gitstats is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or version 3, at your option (SPDX: GPL-2.0-only OR GPL-3.0-only), as the original gitstats was. This covers all of gitstats: the code of the original and the code written since 2024 alike. The texts of the two licenses are in LICENSE-GPLv2 and LICENSE-GPLv3.

Bundled JavaScript

The reports include two JavaScript files that are not gitstats’ own and keep their MIT license: chart.umd.min.js (Chart.js) and sortable.js. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
